Welcome to another delicious Tuesday Brew Day! As we move through the end of January with all the winter storms that go along with it, we thought it would be appropriate to celebrate this week with Thunder Coffee from West Fargo, ND.
This week’s selection is “All Fringe No Frill” rotating washed single origin coffee, which has a bright floral, citrusy taste, with subtle notes of kiwi, jasmine and lemonade, finishing with just a hint of brown sugar.

As the name implies, this coffee rotates seasonally, with the current community lot called Tsebel Amharic for “holy water”. Sourced from the Catalyst trade of smallholders and outgrowers throughout the Guji zone in the Oromania region of Ethiopia, this freshly roasted coffee is sure to brighten your day as it did ours.
Thunder Coffee was started in 2017 on secondhand equipment with a first-rate work ethic by brother Skyler and Dexter (along with Skyler’s wife Nicole). The goal was building community in West Fargo, ND through incredible coffee. With its humble beginnings as a mobile coffee cart with only three menu items, the big dream of a brick and mortar took shape in 2019.
In 2020, they began roasting their own coffee and now have a rotating selection of single-origin coffees that you can purchase on their website.
