Tuesday Brew Day: Drumroaster Coffee

  • 1 min read

For Tuesday Brew Day, we warmed our spirits with a batch of Julekaffe from Drumroaster Coffee Co on our Matte White KBGV Select (shown with our Off-White KBGV Select in the background).

This sweet, earthy coffee has plenty of body and hints of fudge. It comes from the “El Chocolate” lot from the Prentice family at Finca De Dios, in Fraijanes, Guatemala. Embracing the comfort of the season in its flavor and gnome-on-a-goat packaging, this seasonal variety from Drumroaster Coffee Co in Cobble Hill, BC, Canada is full bodied without being overly dark roasted.

For a chance to win a bag of this coffee follow the Moccamaster USA Instagram page for all the details.

Drumroaster Coffee is a family-owned and operated coffee roastery and cafe based in Cobble Hill, B.C., Canada. They have maintained their core philosophy since 2007: Value relationships with customers and vendors.

By keeping their focus on sourcing coffee harvested on a select few countries -  Colombia, Ethiopia, Peru, Kenya and Guatemala - their efforts help improve the livelihood of the coffee-producing communities they source from.

This approach allows Drumroaster to pay more for coffee and be more consistent with purchases year after year, which in turn allows for better re-investment and simple financial prosperity for the coffee producers they source from.

On their website, you'll find a robust line of coffee, subscriptions, coffee gear, swag and fundraising efforts.
