Evans Brothers Coffee was started in 2009 by brothers Rick and Randy Evans, in Sandpoint, Idaho. Their vision for this family-owned business developed over long lift rides at Schweitzer Mountain Resort's Chair 6 in the winter of 2008/2009.
Their philosophy on coffee roasting begins with sourcing exceptional raw beans, with sustainability being a crucial factor in their decision process. They seek coffee partners who provide organic and fair trade coffee. To enhance their sustainability commitment, their coffee packaging is 100% recyclable.
The goal in roasting coffee for Evans Brothers Coffee is to highlight the inherent characteristics of each individual bean through custom roast profiling. This involves careful analysis of the specific coffee and developing the the right profile for the bean.
