Easy Homemade Peppermint Mocha Coffee

Introduction

Our friend and collaborator Sari Diskin is a Michigan based wellness lifestyle, and food blogger. Recently we asked her to share a holiday coffee recipe from her blog, and she delivered a simple and delicious Peppermint Mocha recipe using her Moccamaster KBGV Select. The recipe only calls for a cup of brewed coffee, so if you're making it just for yourself, a Moccamaster Cup-One or KBS pour over coffee maker would be great to use, too!

"Hello Easy Home Peppermint Mocha Coffee! TIS THE SEASON! Holiday mode is in full force over here and I love making delicious coffee drinks to celebrate. Warm cozy vibes with holiday flavors is *chefs kiss*. 

For this easy Homemade Peppermint Mocha Coffee, I brewed coffee in my Moccamaster pour over coffee maker. I have been a Moccamaster girlie for almost three years now and nothing compares to it! It makes the smoothest and most delicious cup. It works quick, but the quality is the best. The Moccamaster machine is crafted with the upmost care and intention. I promise it is the real deal. This machine would make the most special (and practical) gift for the coffee lover on your list.

Ingredients 

Homemade Peppermint Mocha (1 serving):

  • 1+ Cup Brewed Coffee from a Moccamaster (Fill a mug ¾ of the way)
  • ¼ Cup Oat Milk (I used barista blend)
  • 1 Tsp Cocoa Powder
  • ¼ Tsp Peppermint Extract
  • Milk Frother 

Preparation

Grind your coffee beans and brew your pot of coffee in the Moccamaster. 

Pour your coffee into the mug.

Add oat milk, cocoa powder and peppermint extract to a milk frother and froth! It makes the most delicious peppermint-chocolatey froth.

Immediately pour on top of your mug of coffee. 

Option: Top with chocolate shavings, whipped cream or holiday sprinkles!
